You left without a word so I wait by your saddle, patiently waiting.
But you've not come back and the daisies bloom once again covering where you lay still, so long ago.

"The Red River Valley" for John sung by my favourite too Slim Whitman.
Music will self destruct in 24 hours. Haven't had time to chat for a a few days.

I'm re-designing a website, put this image on the front page in a different
format of course so enterred it here too adding some daisies as a background.
I originally took the shot at a training trial, Steve brought
his old saddle along for a photo shoot of his dog as he is getting on.
"Snap" is, 12 years and was retired from competing last year,
one of the hightest scoring dogs in Oz. Beautiful worker.

We have a two day seminar coming up this weekend plus a day out tomorrow
training with the speaker so it will be such fun. Taking hundreds of photos,

sadly none for here as the lighting is horrid, not BP quality.

Big Sis, Pat, This is Beautiful, Deep and Sad. Takes us back the old cowboy days where men DID get shot off of their horses, etc., and their dogs sat waiting. I think horses were known to wait for their masters, too!
