Description

This is a portrait of a lady that has my deepest respect and admiration. She came into Canada about 3 years ago due to the fighting in Africa. With her she rescued 2 other girls (now her adopted daughters) who's parents were killed. Since coming to Canada, she has gone back to school and is now training to be a nurse to help other people. She has come through hugh obstacles to get where she is. She is an amazing lady. I thought this photo of her tells a story of although she is free now, looks back to where she came in order to go forward.
