Painting of Yellow Dimensions

Uploaded: July 04, 2005

Description

It is not often when one happens upon a scene that simply takes your breath away as a photographer. This was one of the most intrigueing photos that I feel I have taken thus far. This was a Jamaican man that I found painting this wall. This scene caught me! The flow of the stairs, and rail -- I felt created a dynamic effect. The contrast of the man, against the brightly painted yellow wall and the crop of the window displaying the blue ocean and tile roof, was a beautiful display of colors and contrast. I hope that you enjoy this as much as I have! :o) Take care Melissa

Neat scene Melissa, lot's of interesting components, great find and well composed. Just wondering, where is the water coming from that you can see out the window? #1554714

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them. It is actually a waterfall that goes into the pool that is located on the other side of the wall. I will see if I can find a photo that has this waterfall in it from the other side and post it. :o) #1554765

Well I searched my photos and this is the best forward type shot of that waterfall. Hope this puts it into perspective for you at least a little. It was a flat man-made waterfall. :o) The yellow wall was right to the right but I had cut it out of this frame....Now I wish that I hadn't. #1554789
