Ornamental Pear at Sunset
Uploaded: April 18, 2010
My goal was to capture the delicate soft lighting on the blossom at the same time as maintaining the light in the sky from the sunset. Because the sky was darkening quickly making focus difficult, a kiss of fill-in flash was needed to maintain tonality and texture of setting sun.

Perfectly lovely -- or lovely and perfect, Bunny. I love the light, rich tones, fine detail and composition of this shot. Thanks for sharing it with us :) #1260063Bunny Snow April 18, 2010
Thank you for your wonderful comments, Nikki. It was a challenge to capture light from the sunset and just get enough fill flash to light the flowers. #8543679Joy Rector April 19, 2010

This lovely floral is my favorite of your April entries, Bunny, but I also like Red Bellied Woodpecker -- great detail and color and the off-center composition is very nice. Good luck. #8607890Bunny Snow May 12, 2010
Thank you, Nikki. Will they re-surface again, or do I have to change them in some way for them to resurface and preform better than an EP?
