Hi Fran!
This is beautiful.
I like the vivid colors of this flower, the center is very unique looking and certainly draws your eye. Nicely focused, composed and DOF.
Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Fran: I want to thank you for joining the WEYG club and especially the great images that you bring with you.
The photo that you entered, called “Totally Trillium is one of my favorites.
First of all it is unique and very beautiful. Also, I am able to learn about a flower that
I have never seen before. I would like to know if it would grow in California, or is it
tropical? My best, Merna

Thanks, Merna for the complements!! This is my first photo club and both you and Carla have made me feel very welcomed!
Trilliums bloom here in Michigan early spring, when it is still cool. They are woodland plants.....they grow in the shade. Not sure if they grow in California (?) Here is a link to where you can inquire about them: http://www.heronswood.com/Perennials_Perennials-T-to-Z_Trillium?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc #8537774
