This pelican was relaxing on the street light over looking the waterside park, taken this arvo at Tea Gardens, NSW. What a view it has. Lens aperture F/5, shutter speed 1/1000sec, focal length 76mm, ISO 80.

The pelicans around this area like to 'roost' on the street lights, too, Chris!! ;o) Superb capture of this one 'ruling the roost'...and your other image also is great, showing just how high up they sit!! :o)

Just a thought - maybe you could crop this image more up to/near the edge of the light pole on the left, and also take some of the sky off the top? That way (IMHO) I think the roosting pelican would have even more impact in your image!! :o) What do you think, Chris? #8542509
