Description

This shot of a transient killer whale was taken on a glorious day in SE Alaska. I'm sure you will never feel hard-pressed to dream of visiting Alaska, but I hope this will only reinforce the ideal.

Great Shot! I went on a whale watching trip in Bar Harbor, Maine. The waves were so rough I didn't get to photograph the 30 humpback and gray whales. 90 percent of the people on the boat were sick so I appreciate this pic!! It was an amazing sight to watch and maybe someday I'll make it to Alaska!! Again, great shot!! #1533094

Just breath taking. I am headed to Alaska next month. Taking the northern passage cruise from Van couver. If I can catch on half this good, I'll be happy. It is just a wonderful shot. #1536128

Thank you to all of you guys for your comments. And I hope that you enjoy your trip to Alaska next month Christy. The great thing about Alaska, is no matter the weather, you can't help but feel the magic of this place. Have fun!
