Thanks for the comments and for helping me identify them, Courtenay and Kathy. I've seen beautiful close-ups of just the flowers in other people's galleries and always loved them -- the petals always seem to have a thickness to them that I like a lot. If we go back, I'll have to try a close-up myself :)

We make beautiful lei's from these..they are rare here. Ususally you find the yellow and white..so it's nice when you can find a tree this color..they are harder to grow. Nice capture. #8471500
