Anthony, This is a really cute shot. One day when he becomes a famous photographer and someone comes to interview him, you, the dad, can pull out this image and embarrass the heck out of him!! Priceless... #1253900

Thanks Deb...I hope he does follow in my footsteps...my daughter is turning 7 next month and is also expressing a lot of interest. She has been asking for a camera for her upcoming birthday, so I got her a point and shoot digital, cant wait to use it with her... #8500139

Tony - Both of my grown kids have digital cameras. Allison inherited my first Canon DSLR - The Rebel XT and my smaller lenses, and Michael has a nice Sony Point and Shoot - hasn't moved up a dslr yet. Both of them, like me, are glad to be on the correct side of the camera; behind it! #8500479

This is awesome Tony! I'm glad your kids are sharing your interest. I sure have a lot of fun with my daughter. Crazy thing is that with time, she'll probably be better than me. My son is also showing interest. The other morning, he came running into our room at 5:30 in the morning and stood by my side of the bed. When I asked him what he needed, he said "let's go take pictures of the sunset" I told him he was a little late for the sunset but in a couple of hours we could check out the sunrise if he would go back to bed. #8503272

Its definitely a great way to do some parental bonding, I'm sure my kids will surpass my abilities in no time if they keep with it. My daughter especially, she has pointed out worthwhile subjects to photograph and has made comments about some of my pics regarding basic composition that I was quute impressed with....your story is funny Jeff and I can definitely relate to it, my kids are consistently in my room before 7am every day.. #8503856
