Description

Late yesterday afternoon a mixed flock of common grackles and red-winged blackbirds landed by the feeder. I have never seen grackles so close up; they are a beautiful bird! A through the window capture.

Nancy- It may be common but this incredible camera work you have done is anything but. You did such am amazing job of bringing out the beautiful mix of colors it has and I to have seen these from a distance but never realized just how beautiful they are, especially that blue head. Then you follow through with stunning, defined, details of the birds features. Gorgeous in its presentation and setting. Any one that can take a common bird like this and make it stand out so beautifully deserves to be a winner.
