Anhinga Show

Uploaded: February 27, 2010

Description

Anhingas are much like cormorants and they sometimes flock with them. But the anhinga is a more attractive bird. Sometimes they sit with wings spread, perhaps to cool themselves or to expose their body feathers to the sun. Regardless of the reason, it is quite a display. (Taken using a Canon 70-300mm IS lens with polarizer. Adjustments made using Photoshop RAW and CS3 processing.)

Exif: F Number: 7.1, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/400 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 110.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
