Description

One of the most peaceful, scenic-packed, relaxing places I have been to. This reflection is at pullover- how convenient!North, South, West,East-does'nt matter, all pleasing to the eye.For this shot thou, I had to get into an uncomfortable posture again! Also waited for still waters, which only last fairly briefly early morning

Exif: F Number: 3.7, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/5600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 50, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 6.00 mm, Model: E4800

Thanks Michelle
I made one boo-boo. Actually this is made with a point and shoot camera, not my SLR. If I had used the SLR, the sky would be polarized, but fortunately early in morning, the rich colors seem to work fine with p&s cameras. The sky color is the actual sky color, and because I did not use a polarizer, I got a stronger, more natural reflection on the pond.On carside shots, I usually don't want to spend too much time making a shot...I still have a destination to get too! This is a beautiful capture, Mark! Goes to show you that it's not the gear but the photographer that makes great images! How interesting to read about your experience with a polarizer and reflections - I always shoot with a polarizer - among other things, I thought that the lack of glare promoted better reflections! Congratulations and good luck in the next round! #8487556
