Shadow on the wall

Description

I was sitting in my living room chatting with few friends of mine and accidentally spotted this single flower sitting in narrow vase, bathed in late afternoon sunlight, leaving it's shadow on unlit part of the wall. The interesting thing was the angle of light, which created dark blue shadow on the wall right behind the flower. The flower itself was perfectly lit and that's what caught my attention in the first place.
It's very interesting, right side is like a negative of the left side but distorted a bit.
Anyway, it's simplicity I like the most, and it's really hard to keep it simple most of the time :)

This was shot with Nikon D70, 60mm macro lens, 1/125s and F8
