GLOBAL WARMING 2

Uploaded: June 21, 2005

Description

Lake Nyasi Northern Tanzania. This whole lake used to be full of water most of the year. Now it is down to a trickle. We camped near the fish farm in the bottom r/h corner and they told us the water used to come right to the edge and even went over one year causing the fish to escape. For the last 6 years it has been rescinding.

Terrific shot Kate. But what a worry we are having with our waterways and lakes etc in terms of global warming ,pollution, increased salinity etc.Nearly all my life I have been involved with water..For fun,for work etc etc,and I am becoming more and more concerned.Love your shot Kate of a region I have never been to. #1520860
