Description

I had to pose myself for this shot. I had applied a lots of dodging and burning on my skin to get this effect. Then I applied B&W layers with multiply and vivid light blending modes. Selective sharpened some of the areas to enhance texture and details.

For lighting, I used my SB800 with an umbrella on the right side of the camera.

Great work - superb intensity in the eyes. My only advice would be that the catchlights should be about equal in size and intensity in each eye. In the one eye the light is small and round, while in the other eye it is large and hexagonal. #8366939
