Taken at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh. The Victoria Crowned Pigeons are courting, a ritual where the male brings sticks, twigs, and reeds to the female to build a nest.

This is my favorite of your February entries, Mary Beth. I love the moment captured and the clarity, color, lighting and detail are terrific. Also high on my list were 'Cowboy Clown' for the terrific expression, 'Solitude' for the simplicity of the composition and the wonderful lighting, and 'The Gathering' just because I love this capture and am so glad to see it again.
