Limpkin
Uploaded: January 31, 2010
While walking on the trail at Seminole Park I saw this Limpkin up in a tree. He stayed there for a long time. There has been many baby limpkins born at the park. I'm sure they'll be more when the spring time comes.

Hope you'll have your camera handy (and I'm sure you will!) to capture some of those babies, Kay! This is a beautiful shot, with fine detail and color of this wonderful bird! #1233157JoAnn L. McCleeary January 31, 2010

Kay- It seems that everyone is into doing some bird pictures and I am so happy as they are such a joy with their colors and each one so unique. Have not seen one of these. It is so pretty and I love its features. You got a fabulous pose from him. I wanted to mention about your other picture with the fisheye lens. That is one I have been thinking about getting. Your picture sure makes me want to get one. Thing they would so much fun for different shots.Dominick M. Dimacale January 31, 2010

Thank you everyone for your comments. I love to see them at the park. It's fun watching them get the shells and get the meat out of them. #8354321Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
