Hi Pearly, Kerry, Robert, Barbara, Gord and Toni!

Those are cherry blossoms, if this gives you a good idea of scale! YES! He was BIG! I'm glad you like this one. It's a re-do and now that I have the frac filter warmed up, I felt I'd like to see how it looks on some older favorites of mine.

I sure appreciate the visit! Thank you!

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY to our AUSSIE FRIENDS AND BP FAMILY!

Hi Michelle, Steve, Tess, Jeff, Monnie, Ellen, John, Tammy, Ron and Little Sis Maria!

Well I have some good news and I have some BAD news about the BUMBLE BEE.

First the GOOD NEWS.

THE GOOD NEW IS:

Bumble Bees are the best natured of all bees. They are pretty much docile and very slow to anger. They are cute and fuzzy and easy to be around.

THE BAD NEWS IS:

If you DO make them mad and they DO attack you...heaven help you. Their sting hurts the worst of all stings!

So, Tammy, I hope this makes you feel better. HA!

The Rules: Photobucket

No Sudden moves
No Running and Screaming
No BATTING AT THEM
and
No STOMPING! Cuz if you fail...

Well...Anyway, on to NICER THOUGHTS...Thank you all for the kind and fun remarks!

You're so funny. A bee on steroids! Oh dear! Still chuckling!

Thank you Shelly and Laura!

You should see these bees in real life. HUGE! And they have the most beautiful ORANGES on their backs to mix with the yellow. This summer I'll make a point to shoot the orange. It's really pretty!

You're so funny, Tam-tam. :) I know just what you mean. One year a wasp made it up the back of my blouse and stung me 5 times!!! Photobucket I actually thought I had a pine needle back there somewhere so I wasn't even panicking. One of the stings REALLY hurt however so I reached back to GET THAT DARNED PINE NEEDLE OUT...Guess I squashed it cuz ut dropped to the ground a second or two afterwards.

You should have seen my back! It was bad!

I am horrified of bees! Glad I thought it was a pine needle.

I'm sorry you got stung, too... :(
