Description

Taken early morning, Nikon 70-300 lens on a Nikon D300, 200mm, 1/160 sec @ f/9.0. I used CS2 to remove a distracting bright leaf and added a touch of the Poster Edges filter to emphasize the sharpness of the thistle's structure.

The second teasel of the morning...but quite different from the other.... this one features the sharp detail, the other, the graceful, soft, snowcapped teasel. Both are wonderful. #1225333
