Missing Droplet

Description

ISO100, Custom White Balance, Av-f/5.6, 1/15s, -1.0ev, -1/2 Flash ev, 100mm Macro lens @@ My final shot of the night. The water droplet ended up falling off of the rose, but I shot it anyway. I wanted to see what the effect would be of the different exposure comp and flash exposure comp would be. I liked the outcome of all of the shots WITH flash. Without flash, the rose was a boring dull pinkish color. All of the rose shots were taken using the DIY soft box made out of a cardboard box, tissue paper, tape and table lamps (you can find the directions in several places on-line).

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: -1.00, ExposureTime: 1/15 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi
