Or perhaps Father Gander?

The goslings were fanning out on our neighbors' very large pond, venting their youthful curiosity. With me (and my camera) standing suspiciously on the bank, the parent understood the importance to keep the family close together.

A fine wildlife capture Michelle. Looks like the adult bird has one eye on you (the stranger)and one on the baby. Just like people do. I like that lens. #8232417

Fantastic moment and capture Michelle!! If it was me, I would have gotten hissed at, then a nip for good measure. I've been bitten once by a swan, and once by a goose. I don't think waterfowl like me very much. Have a wonderful Sunday, and stay warm and dry through the storm. #8234399
