Description

This old place had a good view of the road & valley below, still had an old tractor in the old carport. I found it just along back road just near the markets at Missabotti, NSW. Lens aperture F/4, shutter speed 1/501sec, focal length 5mm, ISO 80..

It was a lovely old place, though the road was getting a little worrying, nowhere to turn around & very long, bumpy & twisty to back back on. #8232132

Love "Mr. Trees'" comment!

* * *

I have never been able to figure out why people built such tiny little places and then had 8 kids? Even the "wealthy" families! You should see some of the homesteaded properties (and their houses on them) out in the country here...Unreal.

This is actually a very beautiful image, Chris! I like it a lot!!!

I agree Laura, Mr Trees coment was great & you know I am sure I answered but I can't see it!!! In our town the biggest houses have the least living in them & vice versa. I'm pleased to show this one to you.
Wm you sound just like our family, when we drive around we are always commenting on "fixer uppers" & whether it would be a long term job or a few week-ends. Some are only a week-end & a carton or two. #8235876

Chris, what a great capture of this 'handyman's dream'!! :o) I can't believe, though, how close the front verandah is to the road!! ;o) #8521122
