The idea of discussion is surely to offer constructive opinions,yet all I see are a bunch of accolades.Is this because it is an American Positivity Forum?!!Needs a bit of English realism then....!!
Bob,your shot is indeed well composed,with its dynamic diagonal construction.The movement of the hair ( one of the few comments above) does indeed add a sense of moment which makes the image come to life.
Is it my PC monitor,or are the red hues really so strong on the original-especially in his hair,but also on the violin? Personally,I would have toned them down a little towards the brown end,in keeping with the classical subject.But that may be just my screen!
Interested to know if you composed this shot in a studio,since the lighting is so well balanced in front and behind?
Overall,I think it a great picture too.and a worthy winner.Thanks. #102621
