my second attempt (this time with a better system) of photographing a drop. Enjoy.

thanks Boyd. Glad you liked this image. I would recommend making a water drip system (a juice bottle and a needle works pretty well). then get yourself a black pan. a colored printout (I used one of those dinner table sheets that you put your dinner on). Fill the black pan (baking pan in this case) with some water and start dripping water into it. as far as photographing the water drop is concerned check out this link. http://www.slrphotographyguide.com/macro/waterdrop.shtml #8134277
