Poor turtle! He looks so scared. I think this a fun shot, Tony.

I don't really have any suggestions for you. I like the composition and the frost on the leaves. Great job. :) #1204379

Cute title and image Tony! I like the treatment on it and can't think of much else to improve it. Maybe black out the eyes....pure black? :~) #8126620

Cool shot. Love the off centered and the little pile up of leaves on the left. The blade of grass looks like his mouth. Great detail on the leaves. #8127687

Hey Tony. I've just spent three days, sweeping, raking, blowing and mulching the billion of leaves on our place. Stop messing with your camera and get yours cleared. It will soon be Christmas. #8128579

Nice comp Tony but Peter's right. Time to get out the rake. But don't stop messing around with the camera, we like your stuff!! #8128693

The stem/twig/blade of grass across his face give him a whimsical Charlie Brown expression!! GULP! LOL!! Leaves are meant to be taken by the wind aren't they?? #8128975

The blade of grass across its face looking like a mouth really helps to make this shot into a real fantasy. Nice work Tony. #8129369

Thanks for all the kind words phellos..I will try blacking out the eyes when I get a chance..

Sorry Susan, he is a boy turtle, as the title implies..

Dont' think so Peter...you got to have priorities in life, photography falls somewhere below my kids and other loved ones and above just about everything else, including and especially yardwork..

aww who'd of thought you could make a turtle sandbox such a sad character? this is really good- great photo and I love your take on this guy. i'm glad we have a boat sandbox, otherwise this might cause me to feel sorry for it being left out in the cold. :-) #8129617
