Description

We were lucky enough to see part of the great migration of wildebeeste and zebra (they seem to like each other's company). Most of this was going on in the Masaai Mara in Kenya but we were in the Serengetti in Tanzania. For the time of year we were seeing more than normal as the area had a flush of growth from recent rains.

Hi Thomas, we were standing inside a very old land rover with no suspension that gave us sore bottoms from bumping up and down along the Serengetti tracks but it was well worth all the suffering. The roof was up so that we could see over the sides. I think we were about 50 meters from the herd in this shot but they were all around us. In Tanzania it was just the 2 of us and we had our own driver/guide. I could have stayed there all day there was such activity but we had to move on.
