A Big Salute to All Veterans who are currently serving or have served to defend Freedom all over the world!!

Whether delivering combat troops and equipment or humanitarian aid after a disaster the C-17 Globemaster III can reach any point on the earth non-stop with its air refueling capabilities. When it absolutely has to be there overnight these are the men and women you want to have on speed dial!!

Canon 70-200L IS + 1.4x = 280mm. Early afternoon (back and side-lighting), ISO 200, 1/1600th @ f6.3 (CA)

Jeff- What a beautiful job of capturing this in flight plane as it heads out on another mission. Love the tilt of the wings and you did an amazing job in the clarity of the details. Love that wild blue yonder. A beuatiful dedication to out fighting soldiers and I loved the story behind the picture and how our fighting troops are always on the ready. The refueling in the air is quite a spectacle to see. Amaing how they do it.
