First attempt at Photoshop

Uploaded: March 20, 2003 10:01:32

Description

I used the magic wand selector (repeatedly) to remove the background clutter, then I used the rendering filter to adjust the lighting because it was so overcast in the photo, then I used the paint can to change the background color. This was fun, but very time consuming, and since my printer is unavailable, I'm not sure how it really looks, although I thought it was pleasing for my first attempt.

Hi there Jennifer...

I really like what you've done with this...it's hard to get my head around the fact that it's your "first attempt at Photoshop"! I agree with Heather and Murry, that you did a GREAT job - the jonquils(?) certainly are both "eyecatching" and "pleasing"! I'm going to have to really try a lot harder in PS! Did you take any lessons in it Jennifer? Best Regards...

Thank you Heather, Murry, and Carolyn! Wow! I NEVER expected anyone would really notice this, so it was great to have such a positive response. Carolyn, I have not had any lessons, but am looking forward to taking some...I never dreamed how much you could do with Photoshop! Thank you all. #69963
