The Bird for John Connolly

Uploaded: October 22, 2009

Description

Taken early morning on a drizzly day. I crawled slowly up to the Sulpher Crested Cockatoo on my belly
getting wet whilst Graham sat in the car complaining my camera was getting wet. I changed the image to B&W,
used a layer mask to get some colour back and posterised the parrot so it would look a bit different
from an ordinary one, well I hope so anyway LOL. ~Pat

I like what you did here Pat! This is really a different looking image! We have flocks of these noisy birds visit our village! #8059292

Get a go at the look on it's face, thinking what the hell is this one doing crawling along in the wet grass. The effects really set him off well, another good one=^..^= #8059310

LOL G'day there you two!

Gee it is hard to make a cockey look like a Pheasant lol competing with the grand feathers. Thank you John so much, great you liked it! Lucky you to have them in flocks but they are dreadfully noisy!

LOL it was looking at me crawling up at it still chewing on it's nut. Chris, thank you for your kind words as I could do nothing for this parrot, it looked mundane until I Posterised it, the first time I have used this.
