Very cute and unusual, Penny, and beautifully lit! #26733

beautiful lighting..may I asked what you used. I have tried to soften my lighting to acheive this affect, but I end up with a shutter speed that is to slow for the kids. Also...what film do you use?
Thanks so much

I wish I had a lighting system that could achieve this. It is all natural light through my bedroom window. Simple, but effective and the price is right for my budget. I use morning light on the west side of my house.

Thanks for asking. Sorry I can't be of any more help than that. #69474

Sorry Cari. I forgot to answer your question about film. I am strictly digital these days. I have an Epson PhotoPC 850Z. I use a 18% gray card and take a light reading using the automatic mode. I then switch to manual and set the recommended F-stop and shutter speed. It is typically pretty low (around 1/32) so I try to quickly get their attention and snap the photo while they are trying to figure out what I want or what that strange noise was (I talk like Donald Duck to the little ones.) #69779
