This is a great composition - nice and close - but the grain/noise takes it down a notch. #265949

Beautiful colour and I like the composition. Don't want to end up condemning myself by contradicting the judges, but for me...the grain doesn't bother me, especially knowing you did it at ISO 1600. I guess that I'm kind of used to grain since I work on film only still (*sigh*) and don't have a good scanner and no matter what ISO film I use, I get grain which is then amplified by scanning. With your picture, the grain almost softens what would have been a VERY bright picture. I like it. #1490754
