Painted Lady and Pinks
Uploaded: October 05, 2009
We hatched this painted lady butterfly last week and today it was finally warm enough to let fly away. She enjoyed soaking up the sun and getting some nourishment from this flower.
Taken at 12:20 pm in full sun with my 180L lens - Handheld.
I hope you had a marvelous Monday!

Kim- That had to be one of the most wonderful experiences. To hatch it, to see it take wings, and then to let you have the joy of photographing it is a beautiful story. I know how happy your heart must have been. Beautiful macro showing us the brilliant colors of your butterfly and flower, fantastic details showing its features.Monnie Ryan October 06, 2009
