Hi L and Alexandrina, thanks so much for stopping by and giving such warm comments.

Alexandria, welcome to BP. I used 3 photos from my archives combined and blended with other layers that I created with Photoshop 7.0 and other fx filters. (smile)

Another great piece, Norm! Love the color and offset composition. Not sure I totally comprehend your message, but I like looking at the image (big grin)
I'm hitting some snags with the new laptop. Nothing serious, just time consuming:-) #1371356

Hey good buddy, thanks for the nice review!

When you get the LT all setup, I'll send you the layer sets (the most I've ever done so far) for this one. (big grin)

I wanted to show faces all transfixed by the mirrors and smoke, while the train (light in the dist.) was coming at them. To make a long story short, I ran into a blending problem with the people scene, a shot taken in an airboat in the everglades.

It was perfect as the peoples faces were all Oohhs & aahhs, but couldnt get it quite like I wanted without a lot of detail layer masking and I was just too lazy.

Give me a little time and I'll work out the kinks,(smile) maybe I'll change the theme message. (mischievious grin)

Good Evening Mr. Banks :-)...
I feel the need to take a little more time on your photos as you are with your creations!
First...I thought I saw a wizard in the center...ha!! don't laugh! Quick glance that's what I see (the dark atop of the circle I thought was a hat..at first glance)..Now I see an illuminating globe :-) cruisin the tracks of the world, people waiting anticipating what is up ahead. The mirror is what we all are..mirrored images of our ancestors.
You on the other hand probably created this all differently & that's the FUN of Photography Creation!! :-) Have a wonderful weekend Norm!! #1375752

Thanks for the great comments, Rachel and Boris!

I see both of you have been busy producing some wonderful work. Sorry I havent been able to comment as much as usual. This is my outdoor selling season and I'm not able to get up to BP as often!(sad face)

However, I'm gathering some interesting elements so I hope to put together some composites soon. (happy face)

I like it so much.. #5405945

Norman P. Banks January 28, 2008

Hi Philippe and thanks so much again!

This image goes back some as I did it around 2005. To tell the truth, I can't remember if I did this as an exercise in layering and blending or if I had a definite message! (big smile)
