Thanks for the kind congrats, Sharon, Nancy and Sam. But to tell the truth, it's getting rather frustrating that they consistently (now almost every time!) overlook the images which I feel have the most merit and choose ones like this, which I almost didn't even upload to my gallery and enter! Perhaps this image has good points, but it has no magic. It's getting so frustrating that I wonder if they are seeing the same things I am. I'm going to paste in the links to some images which I feel have much more worth and would really appreciate your or anyone's opinion as to why they consider this finalist to have more worth than them---just wonder what I'm not understanding here...

If they weren't so consistently choosing what to me seem such lack-luster images I wouldn't be so frustrated. Thanks to anyone who might see what I'm missing here and give me some perspective. #8161251
