Description

This is a makeshift bridge that goes over the top of the livestock pens at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Converted to B&W with PSE7 + Nik Silver Efex.

Canon 70-200L IS at 70mm. Early Morning, ISO 200, 1/400th @ f8, EC -1/3 (EoD)

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: -0.33, ExposureTime: 1/400 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 70.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 50D

Do you know what I like about this one, Jeff? Yes, yes. Lines and shadows, indeed! But there is more! I really like that the ENTIRE -IMAGE- is LINES. EVERYWHERE. The roof to the right, details to the left...

I also appreciate the extra style this has in the rails, the boards are curved (weaved?) just enough to give it some added interest to the shape and in the shadows.

Added to this, the floorboards are as straight as they can be for contrast of form.

Really super find. You have good eye!
