Hi all,Deri C. Dority September 27, 2009
Also, in case anyone is curious, the mother bear was skittish and smelled another female in the area. Normally that isn't something that is overly concerning to a mother bear (males are concerning), but this one was alarmed and after a few minutes, reared up and smelled the air. She then called her cubs to her and they all took off running.Anne McKinnell September 29, 2009
