Thank you Janice, Evy, Tess, and Tiia! I've never seen such a beautiful dragonfly around my little pond. I used my 300mm from a distance at first, because I didn't want him to fly away. This was actually the first shot of about 50 and it was hand held. My lens is old fashioned and does not have any stabilizers build in - neither does my Nikon D-100, but I was happy that this shot came out so clear. The background is a brick walkway next to some gravel. The DOF created such beautiful colors that blurred together well. #7985994
