This is such a colorful pylon that I didn't want the season to pass without recording it. It's really BRIGHT, too, as you can see!!!

That has to be one of the brightest and prettiest murals I have ever seen, Lala!! We have a few murals on some of the buildings in town, but none on bridges! And its too bad we don't cause between the mural and the pretty yellow paint under the bridge, it really seems lit up, and it usually seems so dark and dreery driving under bridges or overpasses! Excellent capture of this beautiful mural, Laura!! The color, light, clarity and composition are right on!! I see it's painted in squares and wondered if a different artist did each square. I have seen this done before so everyone can share in the fun.

My light meter worked great for the mural but I was sad the river didn't expose on the right. Still I felt it was worth sharing.

I think you are right Denny about the artists taking turns.

Yes, I also agree that it is totally bright and VERY cheerful.

Tons of cowboys around here SSSKiki...FOR SURE! (AND COWS TOO!!! HA!) Calgary is actually called "COW TOWN", as a nick name.

I also wish more cities would catch on to this and get rid of the icky graffiti. I have seen very artful graffiti, too, however.
