great shot Jeff the angle make me feel like I just got off that ride. Please tell me you didn't hand hold this one, everything is so sharp. the colors are great love the ferris wheel and I am ok as long as it not a space ship... ;0) #1181432

This is cool Jeff, the motion and angled horizon really give it a dynamic feel...i would consider cropping off the right to make the lighted diagonal support emerge from the upper right corner to focus the attention on the more interesting stuff to the left of that point.. #7950731

Dale Hardin September 17, 2009

Tony, you have to stop this! If I keep agreeing with all your cropping decisions people are going to talk. :o)

Love the diagonal look Jeff, and the lighting is great. Tony's suggestion will create a square crop that will put the bright light in the upper left ROF and eliminate the bright area on the right that is competing for the focal spot. #7951258

Sorry Dale, if I didn't learn so much about compostion from you, you wouldn't be having this issue....so blame yourself :-p #7951381

Alright Tony and Dale, here is your square version. I like it, I didn't realize that the light on the right side was such a distraction. Nice catch gentlemen! #7952444

I like this crop better as well Jeff, I think one more thing you could do is brighten the overall image just a little bit, with the exception of the illuminated area in the lower left corner which is somewhat of a distraction and could be darkened a little.. #7952488

Jeff E Jensen September 17, 2009

Here you go, darkened the grass, brightened the rest. #7952507

This image ROCKS Jeff! The crop really enhanced the composition. Like someone else said...makes you feel like you have been riding the rides. Great Job! :~) BTW like the last version you have here best! #7952526
