Description

Auto macro shot of this garndener snake I found sun bathing on my Aunt's driveway. For those who don't know, snakes smell with their tongues, and this one was checking me out while I was closing in with the camera at almost ground level.

I like the composition and the great capture of that fast red tongue. This photo also would have gone well in the Animals category. #1494299

Thank you so much for your comments and suggestion. It is sometimes hard to know what catagory to put things into. Since I used macro, I thought macro was the right one. But you are right that animals would have been a great place for it too! I forget that I can reenter into different catagories but I'll keep that in mind in the future! #1494826
