Description

The fulcrum of the water wheel on Taggets Grist Mill (restored). On March 11, 1748, George Washington and George William Fairfax crossed the Occoquan River above the falls near here – Washington to enter the service of Lord Fairfax, and Lord Fairfax to meet his constituents in Frederick County.Nikon 17-55mm f2.8 lens, f8, 1/500, ISO200.
