Great tribute for my favorite "holiday!" The post-storm sky is a dramatic backdrop for this beautiful lighthouse, and the colors of the sky are reflected in the water at the edge of those treacherous looking rocks. Have a feeling you got your feet wet (and probably other other parts of you as well) getting this terrific photo, Amanda! #1165365

That must have been a memorable morning for you...and this is certainly a memorable photograph of your efforts. Excellent composition...and the lighting is exceptional...plus having those clouds and the moon in the early morning sky as background makes this all the more beautiful. A great image...very appropriate for National Lighthouse Day. #7828002

I know you have been swamped at work, glad to see another one of your greats show up here. What can I say to you my friend that hasn't already been said. Your work is always a joy to view and it always gives me an emotion of some kind, job well done.

My shot was along the Apache trail north of Pheonix. #7833130

Oh, my goddess! The speechless part of my appreciation for your magnificent work is now over. It was by far a record for me. L-look,, I'm st-still f-fumbling and stumbling.

Amanda, how cool would that have been to just walk upon this scene, set up, expose and move on? That never really happens. You had to observe this spot for some time before getting the light so perfect. You had to wait until there was a morning after a storm. The timing had to be perfect and it was. You have so much talent that shows in each and every photo you take.

Outstanding light captured on the hill and lighthouse. Superb reflections of bluesky intersperced in the jagged shore rocks. AND YOU GOT THE MOON!

A better photo cannot be made! #7835830
