Stairs behind Atlanta Merchandise Mart

Description

Primary design element is rhythm (percussion?) but the scene also has strong lines, curves and pattern. Biggest decision was where to place the light fixture, or even to include it in the frame. I chose to include it to provide a visual stop ("beat") in the lower right of the frame. It also provides some useful scale. Light and dark tones were expanded in Lightroom.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/125 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 250, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 62.00 mm, Model: NIKON D80
