Description

Climbers Jeff LaPointe and Alexandre Militao take a rest break during the descent of Peru's Nevado Pisco (18,800 ft.). As the sun hits the glacier, temperatures rise quickly and what was a cool climb becomes very hot and tiring. The Paron Valley can be seen in the distance beyond the climbers.
