Wow... this is beautiful! The river is like glass, indicating a very calm morning. I love the reflections of the light and the clouds along the surface of the water. Escaping with camera in hand is a ritual that I cherish as well. Very inspiring, Amanda. Thank you!

Moving out of ones self and into the camera is a meditation that we photographer's use to express ourselves. One can tell by this beautiful morning capture that you are a wonderful artist with this 40D Amanda. I'm sure that camera still has your great touch affecting it! Beautiful work!! #7779459

Magnificent magenta! ...and all of the colors you've captured. Monnie said it so well, Amanda. I would hate to think that all of the beauty you spread around comes from your troubles, but I'm happy to hear that your escape, ironically, is actually the best way to confront them.

I like how the reflecting lights stay within the reflection of the mountain, and the reflecting clouds give a sense of misty morning. #7786804

Beautiful scene Amanda. I totally understand when you say you like to escape with your camera. It has a way of soothing the soul and I do this often myself. The reflection of the lights in the river are gorgeous. Hope your troubles are gone. Outstanding work. #7807984
