Description

Kansas Wheat Harvest!
It is now over, but the memories remain. Harvest has became a
favorite part of my life. Being involved with this for 18 years..
one tends to take the hard work
of farming families to heart.
The combine operator in the forground is my husband....
he thinks he's done this since he was born....he may be right!!!
The one in the background is
none other than young son Denton....
He thinks the same as good 'ol dad!!

REMEMBER...Whole wheat toast
with your morning coffee...
On your lunchtime sandwich...
Even your hamburger bun for supper!!! :o)

The anticipation of harvest builds
as we see the wheat begin to grow in the spring, change color from green to golden as the tempatures rise...then the work begins with excitement. Once finsihed, the feeling of accomplishment unfolds and while we are tired...we are relieved & proud that we are able to contribute our labors to feeding the world.
