Description

I have entered this in color, in sepia and now I have worked on it adding a little bit of buzz and darkening it a bit. I hope I haven't darkened it too much. Everyone love's this picture but the judge's. It is one of my personal favorite's so I am trying again.

I LOVE IT!!! So charming and wonderful expression captured.

It's not too dark - IMO. The only thing is that I would change is slightly offcenter it, cropping a little on the left leaving more space in the direction he is looking. #1303618

I absolutely love this! What a great pose, expression, and sepia is a great choice, Donna!
Too dark for what? Computer viewing? I don't think so. However, it's possible it may be for printing. The only way I know to know for certain... is to try it. #1303680

I love the tones, and I don't think it is too dark either. Such a cute moment.
Since you asked, I study the image a bit and found a couple nit picky things, but please understand, I really love this photo and would have been very proud if I had taken it!!!
I would try the crop Barbara suggested, also where the light is hitting the pine needles to the right seems a bit gray and my keeps drawing my eye, you might try running a burn brush over it before converting, also in your conversion you have created a bit of a hot spot on his left foot. You can also try to run a sharpening brush with a very low opacity over his eye.

I know what you mean about the judges.. They over look my favorites every month.. oh well.. This is a WINNER in my book Donna..
