Nice shot Pat, the colors are great and go together well. I also like the DOF. Nice work! #7703370

Thank you, Thomas. I'm just glad this butterfly decided to stay still long enough!! I was on a back road and had a lot of butterflys swarming around me, but they didn't stay put for long. #7703435

Haha that's a problem with me too the stupid bugs won't stay still and I'm not someone to go touching them! :)
LIke the photo, how are your colors so vibrant? they look like you use a poloraizer. No fair you get those butterflies! We hardly have any here in AK, we have the little black and white ones all the time and maybe the yellow and black ones but only occasionally #7704596

This was taken with my Canon SX10 IS camera. I usually underexpose my shots by 1/2... brings out the colors. I also edit my photos in Lightroom and have control over highlights, light tones, dark tones, and blacks, as well as individual colors. #7705401

Is lightroom a thing in PS?
Yeah I tend to underexpose my shots with my Canon also. If it's right on the meter it is too bright. Sort of a pain really but I have figured it out and works fine now. #7705991

Adobe Lightroom is a separate program designed for and by photograpers. It's so much better than Photoshop and has easy to use tools to edit your photos. You can download a 30 day trial version at Adobe. It cost me about $299 US. #7706466
