On June 14. 1777 The Continental Congress in Philadelphia adopted the Stars and Stripes as the National Flag.

This flag was hitched to the span of a footbridge over the Delaware River at Upper Black Eddy, in Bucks County, PA. February, 2008. A blustery day, the high winds produced the billowy effect, and the sun's enhancement shows her to be an outstanding reminder of the freedoms that we enjoy and that have made our country GREAT since its inception.
