Reflections in a Coffee House Window

Uploaded: April 20, 2005

Description

The Roasted Bean coffee shop has a room size oven for roasting coffee beans, which can be seen from the promenade. One day, I noticed a reflection of the oven and some related equipment in the coffee shop window. I only had a pocket digital and there was not enough light, but I shot it anyway. I was delighted with the result. There was undoubtedly some camera movement (.8 sec. @ f/2.8), but it was not noticeable. The Microsoft Impressionist filter added to the mystique of the picture.
